According to reports from Sport, Arsenal and Chelsea are both targeting Arda Turan, who could leave Barcelona during the summer transfer window.

However, the versatile midfielder, who can operate as a wide man, a centre-mid or a No.10, endured an underwhelming debut half-season at the Nou Camp, managing just nine starts in La Liga.

Yesterday, reports emerged from Spanish publication Marca claiming some members of the Barcelona hierarchy would be prepared to part with Turan for around £23million.

And fellow Spanish outlet Sport now document transfer interest from two Premier League clubs in Arsenal and Chelsea.

The Gunners have also been linked with Turan by The Sun and prior reports from Sport, whilst the Blues were allegedly chasing the midfielder before his move to Barcelona.
