Man United to resolve goalscoring woes with £40m transfer swoop for Spain star

According to reports from TuttoSport, Manchester United are ready to launch a £39.4million bid for Juventus striker Alavro Morata.

It has been an abysmal season for the Red Devils in the final third, scoring the second-fewest goals – just 46 – of any side in the Premier League’s top eleven.

Tellingly enough, an underwhelming goal difference could be what prevents the Old Trafford outfit from qualifying for next season’s Champions League, should they beat Bournemouth on Tuesday night.

And according to TuttoSport, United are keen to enhance their firepower with a £39.4million swoop for Old Lady front-man Alvaro Morata, who has netted eleven times across all competitions so far this season.

Real Madrid are known to have a buyback option on the Spain international, who rose through the academy ranks at the Bernabeu before signing for Juventus in summer 2014.

It’s claimed Los Blancos will activate it this summer before selling the 23-year-old on at a considerable profit and Manchester United have emerged as keen suitors.
